The Group has been awarded an EPC Contract by Peterborough Renewable Energy Limited for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of works towards the development of an 80MWe gross capacity, energy from biomass and waste recycling centre project known as “EnergyPark Peterborough” in Peterborough, United Kingdom.
We are looking for dynamic, motivated and highly-capable individuals to fill in the following position:
LEAD ENGINEER – CONTROL AND INSTRUMENTATION
Responsibilities:
- To lead the Control & Instrumentation engineer team.
- To manage and train junior engineers.
- Ensure fulfilment of design, quality, constructability and functionality of the scope of supply and services according to the tender/project requirements.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of conceptual design and basic engineering of Distributed Control System (DCS), plant control philosophy and integration of processes with other systems / vendors.
- Able to develop integrated process functional logics
- Ensure on time delivery of specific engineering documentation according to tender/project requirements.
- Ensure scope completeness, technical integrity and cost for the defined scope
- To participate and support bid proposals.
- To evaluate technical proposal by subcontractors or vendors.
- Support the site during construction & commissioning and warranty.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical / Chemical or equivalent professional engineering qualification.
- 10 years of process experience (including 5 years in leading engineers) specifically in the Power Plant and Oil & Gas, Petrochemical EPCC type projects.
- “Hands-on experience in process and product engineering of DCS system in Renewable Energy, Power Utility industry or Oil & Gas industry.
- Good understanding in KKS Power Plant Classification System.
- Good knowledge in Local and International Engineering Standards and Codes.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Able to work in a teamwork environment with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in spoken & written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to travel or relocate to overseas.
LEAD ENGINEER – WATER/STEAM CYCLE
(Based In Selangor)
Responsibilities:
- To lead the mechanical engineering team.
- To manage and train junior engineers.
- Ensure fulfilment of design, quality, constructability and functionality of the scope of supply and services according to the tender/project requirements.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of conceptual design and basic engineering of Water/steam cycle systems.(Main steam/Feedwater/Condensing/Bypass)
- Able to develop Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID and equipment technical specification.
- Ensure on time delivery of specific engineering documentation according to tender/project requirements.
- Ensure scope completeness, technical integrity and cost for the defined scope
- To participate and support bid proposals.
- To evaluate technical proposal by subcontractors or vendors.
- Support the site during construction & commissioning and warranty.
