Jawatan Kosong SPN Terengganu - Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Negeri Terengganu (SPN.TR) was established on 10 August 1959 under Article 56 of Law for Self-kerajaan of Trengganu (First) (Amendment) Enactment 1959
1. Under Article 56 (9) For Yourself Legal State of Trengganu (First) (Amendment) Act of 1956, the Commission is responsible for the appointment, confirmation of service, pension status and disciplinary control of members under their jurisdiction.
2. State Services Commission also serves as:
- i. Promotion Appeal Board State Civil Service
- ii. Disciplinary Appeal Board State Civil Service
- iii. Disciplinary Authority against the officer holding or acting in the position of Secretary and Financial Officer of the State kerajaan.
- iv. Authority to dismiss or demote an officer in the Senior Management and the Management and Professional.
