KPF aimed at making savings and investment as a means of Felda members. KPF has highlighted the establishment of genuine desire to Felda to give a fair chance to join its settlers to own equity in Felda companies through KPF also a vision and concern for the advancement of its settlers Felda.

KPF's intention to set up as a storage container, senior investment has triggered Felda Felda Board Meeting to 102 on January 15, 1980 The chaired by YM Raja Tan Sri Muhammad Alias. With a strong commitment of management time, then Koperasi Permodalan Felda Malaysia Berhad was incorporated on July 1, 1980 Under Cooperative Ordinance 1948 (Replaced by the Cooperative Societies Act 1993).
