Jawatan Kosong CIDB - Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia, well known as CIDB Malaysia is a statuary body under Minister Of Works, Malaysia was established in July 1994 to coordinate all activities in the industry and increase its competitiveness. CIDB’s activities are focused on three main trusts ie : Training & Manpower Development, Construction Technology Development and Construction Business Development programmes.

Construction Industry Development Board was established under the Construction Industry Development Board Act (Act 520) to undertake the following functions related to the construction industry:-

1. To promote and stimulate the development, improvement and expansion of the construction industry
   
2. To advise and make recommendation to the Government on matters related to the construction industry
   
3. To promote, stimulate and undertake research in matters relating to the construction industry
   
4. To promote, stimulate and assist in the export of service relating to the construction industry
   
5. To provide consultancy and advisory services with respect to the construction industry
   
6. To promote quality assurance in the construction industry
   
7. To encourage the standardization and improvement of construction techniques and materials
   
8. To initiate and maintain a construction industry information system
   
9. To provide, promote, review and coordinate training programmes organized by public and private construction training centres for skilled construction workers and construction site supervisors
   
10. To accredit and register contractors including to cancel, suspend or reinstate the registration of any registered contractors
    
11. To accredit and certify skilled construction workers and construction site supervisors

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen;
  
• Not less than 18 years on the closing date of the position;
  
• Certificates in engineering / related recognized by the government of the local polytechnics or equivalent qualification;
  
• Passed Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or equivalent qualification recognized by the government;
  
• Healthy body, and
  
• Have the interest and ability in the areas of enforcement and investigations at the construction site.
