Jawatan Kosong KUIN - Kolej Universiti Insaniah (KUIN) is a university -owned State of Government and registered with the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia KPT/JPS/DFT/US/K03 .
SOFT University College which was formerly known as the Islamic Institute of Kedah Darul Aman. Kedah state government has vigorously to create a center of higher learning in the state of Islam compatible with the status of a leading state in the history of Islamic scholars once .
Initial objective of the establishment of the State Islamic Institute Kedah Darul Aman is to produce more energy professional who is able to lead the community of Islam and Islamic knowledge expands . In addition to support religious school leavers continue their studies to a higher level .
The establishment of the State of Islam is also for the sake of restoring the true tradition of Islamic learning for the good of religion , race and nation . His Majesty the Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman has consented Jamiah Enactment State of Islam passed by the Legislative Assembly on 7 December 1994 under the Enactment No. 4 of 1995 .
With the establishment , Islamic Institute of Kedah Darul Aman this , then it says a new history of the State of Kedah to create a center of higher education and the pure Islamic University class . This is very appropriate for a state that has many centers of Islamic learning since time immemorial .
Among the main purpose of the establishment of Islamic Institute of Kedah Darul Aman is to improve the quality of Islamic studies and Arabic language for producing generations of scholars , intellectuals , Muslim intellectuals and scholars are competent , capable , believe and respond to the needs of Islamic affairs from time to time .
In the early years , Islamic Institute of Kedah Darul Aman has carried out the twin study by the University of Al-Azhar University , Egypt confer degrees, diplomas and certificates . Islamic association established State of the three majors , Shariah Department , Department Ushuluddin and Arabic Language Faculty .
The academic year begins on January 2, 1996 . Arabic is the language of instruction , while English is a compulsory subject.
