Jawatan Kosong Jabatan Peguam Negara - Jabatan Peguam Negara or The Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) is the office of the Attorney General of Malaysia. It started with the provenance of the Attorney General as the country’s chief law officer, and later AGC was recognised as a formal government institution. In 1948, the various functions of legal advice afforded to the then colonial government were consolidated as a federal department under the provisions of the Federation of Malaya Agreement, 1948. Later in 1951, the AGC (then known as the Department of Law) was classified as a Ministry and was held responsible for all legal matters involving the Government

Administrative Associate Grade 41
Requirements:
- Malaysian Citizens;
- Candidates must possess work experience;
- Candidates must have experience in human resource and financial management as well as other relevant experience;
- Candidates must have at least a Bachelor degree recognized by the Government;
- Experience in the relevant sector not less than 2 years. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Human Resource Management and Financial Management;
- Pass the Malaysian Language and English Language examinations at Malaysian Certificate of Education (MCE) level and fluent in Malay and English; and
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Associate Grade L44 to L48
Requirements:
- Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional qualification in Law or equivalent, degree recognized by the Government.
- Candidates with a LLM or PhD in Law or equivalent would have an added advantage.
- Application is opened to all legal officers within the Judicial and Legal Service at the Grade of L44 (Acting) or L48 (Acting).
- Candidate must be willing to be exposed to different areas of law.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with people at all levels.
- Computer literate especially in Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal, analytical and report writing skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Displays good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, a good team player, disciplined, meticulous, committed and able to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
