1. Formulate and implement fiscal and monetary policies for distribution and management of financial resources efficiently and effectively implemented.
2. Formulate and provide procedures, principles and procedures of accounting and financial management system to be implemented by all government departments / agencies.
3. Preparing the annual budget.
4. Monitor the implementation of the annual budget.
5. Getting a loan to the Government and to provide loans to government agencies, private sector privatization projects and employees.
6. Establishing and restructuring companies owned by Minister of Finance Inc (MoF).
7. Monitor the Government established under the Ministry of Finance Incorporated managed effectively
8. Monitor financial management ministries, government departments and statutory bodies.
9. Formulate and administer policies relating to the management of government procurement.
10. Government gives nod to huge revenue down and participate in the procurement process in other government agencies.
11. Formulate policies and manage loans for public sector employees.
12. Receive, monitor complaints against the activities associated with the Treasury and finish.
