Jawatan Kosong MSN - Majlis Sukan Negara - MSN or National Sports Council - NSC established under the National Sports Council of Malaysia Act 1971 and the National Sports Council Act (amended 1979). Official launch was done by the Chief Tun Abdul Razak b. Hussein, Malaysia's second prime minister on February 21, 1972.
At its inception, sports programs implemented under the high performance operation of the Sports Division of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (name of the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the time). To achieve the objectives of the Council, a collective effort involving direct all government and non-government agencies, sports organizations homeland, the state sports councils, higher education institutions, voluntary bodies and individuals have sought to be able to achieve the standard of sports best performance.
After the organization of the Council restructured in 1981, the Council and subsequently taking steps to develop programs and activities that could be seen today. The goal of the National Sports Council of Malaysia is in line with the National Sports Policy fully responsible for the promotion, development and achievement in sports at the highest level
