Jawatan Kosong LMM - Maktab Mahmud is a school funded by the Kedah State Kelajaan and patronized by His Majesty the Sultan of Kedah . Mahmud College is governed by a Board of Maktab Mahmud organization . Mahmud College Board was established in 1967 by the Kedah state government according to the 1967 enactment of the Board intended to facilitate the administration of this school trip .
Mahmud College Board was established for the smooth running of the school administration to enhance knowledge. In addition to produce scholars of Islam and carry out the principles of education.
The board is working to appoint officers and heads of departments were subject to Mahmud College Board Enactment No. 5 , 1967. Mahmud College Board also formed a sub-committee and coordinate the administration .
Mahmud College was established on Friday 29 Rabi 'al- Akhir 1355 H equal to June 19th 1936 M. Laying the foundation stone was graced by HRH Tunku Mahmud , son of late Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Al Mukarramul Shah, the Regent and President of State and Council of Kedah. Maktab Mahmud was then officially opened by HRH Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah , the Sultan of Kedah State at the time.
His main purpose is to make the center of the spread of Islam , Arabic and issuing religious figures . Furthermore he felt Kedah require comparable Islamic College English schools at that time , the teaching system using Egyptian educational system ( Al - Azhar ).
College is governed by an Advisory Committee appointed by the pleasure of the Sultan of Kedah . Chief Minister normally be the Chairman of the Advisory Committee and as Secretary of Teachers College . Appointed committee of clergy and Islamic Sheikul and administrative power is under the authority of the Religious Affairs Office Orissa
Maktab Mahmud expressed contribution figures struggle for independence against the Malayan Union to set up Orissa Scholars Association on February 9, 1946 that has managed to unite the entire clergy Orissa against the Malayan Union .
Maktab Mahmud fully funded by the Kedah State Government and run by the Sultan of Kedah . Maktab Mahmud composed only of students since its inception son only until December 31, 1972 . Tarbiah Islamic Religious School , Jalan Maktab Mahmud stapled Officer and consolidated under the administration of the College Board College Board Mahmud Mahmud according to Enactment 1967. Established Board is responsible for managing the affairs of the administration , finance , services, education and others. Starting from the consolidation, Maktab Mahmud has opened educational opportunities to students princess .
