Executive, Product and Business Development Department
Responsibilities:
- Research and analyse market trends in Islamic banking products and services to ensure business goals are met.
- Develop and improve the Bank’s products and services (including those for business banking and SME) to ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Explore and identify potential improvement for products and services which may be attractive to customers and profitable to the Bank based on customers’ needs and economic environment.
- Review existing products and services to ensure compliance to Shariah and regulatory requirements.
- Implement projects on assignment basis and liaise with all relevant stakeholders until successful implementation.
- Execute business development initiatives and projects.
- A recognised degree in Islamic Banking and Finance or any other related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking environment.
- Excellent business writing skills and strong knowledge of commercial banking products and services.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and is independent, self-motivated and resourceful.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A team player.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager in Retail Business Transformation projects by assisting in liaising with the respective LOBs.
- Assist to coordinate and facilitate in project implementation, tracking of timelines and progress monitoring in the initiatives identified in the business plan.
- Prepare standardised templates for project implementation and reporting within the retail banking for AmIslamic.
- Establish and maintain up-to-date project plans, schedules and progress.
- A recognised degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent. Preferabbly with Islamic Finance certification.
- 1-2 years of working experience. Fresh graduates are also encourage to apply
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office application.
- Candidate with Project Management and Islamic product knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong inter-personal skiils.
Executive – Marketing Communications and Programme Development
Responsibilities:
- Responsible in the areas of promoting/enhancing AmIslamic Bank brand and image through business programmes and medium of marketing communications for all AmIslamic Bank retail products and services.
- Work closely via consultation, coordination and supervision with shared functions, business divisions and other entities within the AmBank Group.
- A recognised degree in banking and finance/marketing/communications or any related discipline.
- Good command of spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Possess strong interpersonal presentation and communications skills.
- Computer/IT literate; knowledge in web communications would be an added advantage.
- Analytical and should be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Preferably a minimum of two years’ experience in banking/communications/marketing.
