1. Server Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation & maintenance of server hardware & software, data center and related IT infrastructure.
- Responsible for administrating, monitoring & maintenance of Windows Server & VM Virtualization.
- Configure & Design of system-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems & key processes, reviewing system and application logs & verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Perform on going performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization (i.e. configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions) as required.
- Involve in Project Management to coordinate & transit all IT technical deliverables into production environment.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum 4 - 5 years working experience on equivalent position or related field
- Candidate with professional certification such as MCSA, MCSE or MCITP would be a plus
- Provide 1st & 2nd level technical support for networking related project & operations
- Solid knowledge of Windows OS & related technologies, including DNS, NFS, AD, TCP/IP, DHCP & VMWare platform will be a plus
2. System Technician
Responsibilities:
- Supervises and assist in the setup and installation of new and replaced PCs and IT hardware equipment for end-users.
- Provide 1st level user support on various applications and network related issues.
- Supervises and assist in the maintenance works performed by Junior System Technicians.
- Supervises and assist in the identification and disposal of obsolete and spoilt hardware by Junior System Technicians
- Liaise with hardware vendors on repairs and maintenance of the Computers and IT hardware equipment.
- Provides on-call duty in supporting users after office hours
- Keeps abreast with new development in the IT industry especially on the Healthcare sector to make recommendations where required.
- Performs all other related tasks and duties as may be assigned by the Section Head, Office Automation.
Requirements:
- A+ Certification or equivalent.
- Possess a good understanding of PC hardware and some knowledge of PC software such as Microsoft Office
- Good technical knowledge in maintenance of PCs and PC peripherals with one year working experience in PC user support.
- Good communication skills, able to work with different levels of users
- Good analytical problem solving skills
