Jawatan Kosong MDB - Majis Daerah Besut (MDB) was established on 1st January 1981 under the Local Government Act 1976 (171 Act) to replace Besut Town Board and Besut Local Meeting Council. Their mission is “United in increasing the ability towards making Besut District a developed district and firm with Islam Hadhari principles to ensure a peaceful, excellent and glamorous society”.
