Jawatan Kosong Silk Highway - KAJANG SILK HIGHWAY, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SILK Holdings Berhad, a public listed company is the toll concessionaire responsible for operation and maintenance of the 37 km KAJANG SILK Highway, which links major population centers in the south-eastern corridor of the Klang Valley.SILK, more popularly known as KAJANG SILK Highway was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 as a private limited company on 20 December 1995. SILK is a single purpose company that holds the concession granted by the Government of Malaysia to design, construct, operate and maintain the 37km KAJANG SILK Highway.
The KAJANG SILK Highway is one of the Government of Malaysia urban Toll Highway project designed to alleviate the daily traffic congestion in the densely populated Kajang area and its vicinity.
KAJANG SILK Highway connects the following inter alia major highway:
- KL-Seremban Highway
- Sungai Besi Highway
- Cheras-Kajang Highway
- Kajang-Seremban Highway
- Proposed South Klang Valley Expressway

Engineer – Traffic Safety
Responsibilities:
- To ensure & implement the Quality and safety procedures and work Instructions.
- To manage, supervise and monitor patrolling activities along the highway.
- To prepare event report and follow up on action taken by the various department attending to user complaint.
- To ensure the operation compliance to the Road Transport Act & Regulations and the Occupational Safety & Health Act & Regulations.
- To control and monitor contractor, Third (3rd) Party Works & commercial activities.
- To manage daily office administration and duty rosters in ensuring optimum manpower allocation according to operational requirement.
- To compile, setup, manage and analyse accident database for proposal in planning, investigation reporting and improvement.
- To review, design, co-ordinate and implement engineering solutions to the improvement of traffic flow and safety.
- To liaise with other departments/units/third parties and authorities in relation to the operations
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 years working experience. Experience in highway environment is an advantage.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge in Traffic/Highway Engineering, Human Resource Management and OSHA
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work independently under stressful environment and meeting deadlines.
- Willing to work both outdoor and indoor without time limitation.
- Possess a leadership quality to handle a group of shift working staffs with different age group, gender and background.
- Energetic and positive thinking
- High Discipline
- Posses driving License B2 & D,
