Jawatan Kosong MPSepang - Majlis Perbandaran Sepang or THE SEPANG MUNICIPAL COUNCIL is tasked with the responsibility of providing services and basic amenities to all Sepang residents under the 1976 Local Government Act (Act 171). As a local municipal council, SEPANG MUNICIPAL COUNCIL is also responsible over the Development Plan and Community Service Plan.

During its infancy, MPSepang was known as the Sepang Town Board and was later known as Sepang District Board. Sepang District Board. On 13th November 2002 the Executive Committee of Selangor has upgraded the board's status to Sepang Municipal Council; as certified by the Election Committee in an official letter dated 7 May 2004 and also by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government on 19th March 2004.

The increase of jurisdiction for Sepang Municipal Council was formalised on the 3rd of March 2005. To date, the jurisdiction of MPSepang encompasses an area of 56,150 square hectares (excluding the area three nautical miles from point of low tide).

A splendorous proclamation ceremony ensued, which was was held at the Sepang Municipal Stadium in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi in full Malay ceremonial regalia. This ceremony was officiated by HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, the Sultan of Selangor on 13th December 2005.

Jawatan Kosong IKTBN - Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara Sepang

Jawatan Kosong Iktbn - Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara is one of the National Youth Skills Institute under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This Institute was born from the inspiration former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir as a measure to improve skills in metal work among youth for the shortage of skilled manpower for the manufacturing industry in Malaysia. RM31.78 million worth of projects undertaken through reciprocal trade ( counter trade ) between the Government of Malaysia (Kem. Youth and Sports) and India (HMT (I)).

The need to set up Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara Sepang (National Advanced Youth Skill Training Institute) or IKTBN in short and previously known as Advanced Training Centre, was conceptualized in the early 1987 and thus made the institute under the wings of the Ministry of Youth and sports.

The project was the result of bilateral cooperation through counter trade arrangement between the Malaysian Government and the Indian Government. The contract for setting up the institute was signed between the Minister of Youth and sports, on behalf of the Malaysian Government and the Hindustani Machine Tool (International), a Government of India Undertaking.

Under the contract, the project was executed on turnkey basis whereby the main contractor, HMT(I), was responsible for all civil works, machineries and equipment as well as other related services.

The construction was completed and handed over to the Ministry of Youth and sports September 1989. The institute was fully operational with the enrolment of the first batch of students in June 1990.

IKTBN is amongst the first established public skill training institute offering advanced/high skill training in Malaysia.

The institute is situated about 65km south of Kuala Lumpur in township of Bandar Baru Salak tinggi in Sepang, Selangor Darul Ehsan and 10km from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The institute occupies an area of 65 acres of land.

Qualified Malaysian citizens invited to fill the vacancies at Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara as follows :

1. Guru Bahasa Inggeris / Matematik / Sains / Fizik

Requirements:

• Malaysian.
  
• Able to speak, read and write in Malay with good knowledge and experience of teaching in the subject would be an advantage.
  
• Age not less than 22 years and not more than 56 years on the closing date of the position.
  
• Possess Honours Degree in the Field of English / Math / Science / Physics recognized by the government of institutions of higher education or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto, and
  
• Honors English / Malay (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia;
  

2. Pegawai Latihan / Pengajar 

Requiremenst:

• Malaysian.
  
• Able to speak, read and write in Malay well.
  
• Age not less than 22 years and not more than 56 years on the closing date of the position.
  
• Diploma qualifications / skills in the field of Tool & Die / CAD / CAM Machining / Industrial Maintenance / Indutrial Electronic / Plastic Technology recognized by the Government of the training institution or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto, and
  
• Honors English / Malay (including oral examination) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia;
  
• Knowledge and teaching experience in the relevant field would be an advantage.
