Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, these two distinctive institutions play a significant role in providing the world with a unique view of the progress of the nation through the vantage point of tourism and informal learning.
Petrosains Sdn Bhd was incorporated to extend PETRONAS' commitment as a socially responsible corporate citizen in providing a rich and stimulating environment aimed to enhance science literacy and instill in Malaysians a passion for acquiring scientific knowledge. Petrosains is a Science Discovery Centre that uses a fun and interactive approach to tell the story of the science and technology of the petroleum industry. Its concept and contents revolve specifically around the science of petroleum, yet embrace all the general sciences.
Petrosains humble beginnings was envisioned as a dynamic world-class science discovery centre built in the Twin Towers, with special focus on presenting the science and technology of oil and gas as an entry point to understand the natural and technological world. On 25 March 1999, Petrosains was unveiled to the public, offering 70,000 square feet of space filled with knowledge and opportunities for discovery.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination and execution of Corporate Communications activities targeted to Petrosains; selected stakeholder groups and business channels, which cover the Discovery Centre, the Outreach Activities, the PETRONAS Twin Towers Visit Operations, and support holding company activities, through various promotional/publicity/community relations activities in order to maintain a favourable image of Petrosains, amplify its brand and reputation; and promote its product/service offerings whilst safeguarding and strengthening relationship with the stakeholders.
- Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, or any relevant disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the Public Relations or Corporate Communications environment.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Extensive writing experience required.
- Organised and keen eye for details.
- Able to work under pressure.
