Jawatan Kosong UKM Technology - UKM Technology Sdn Bhd was established in 2009, UKM Technology Sdn. Bhd. is the wholly owned Technology Transfer Company of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the National University of Malaysia. It is entrusted to accelerate the commercialization of UKM’s R&D and Intellectual Properties.

UKM Technology Sdn Bhd is the technology transfer company of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) entrusted to commercialise R&D outputs and Intellectual Properties of the National University.

UKM Technology are currently strategising our corporate base and business outreach. Therefore, UKM Technology are looking for suitable candidates with entrepreneurial ambition and managerial capabilities to join our commercialisation team.

Qualified Malaysian citizens invited to fill a vacancies at UKM Technology Sdn Bhd as follows :

1. Executive – Commercialisation

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercialisation projects, from the point of disclosure from the R&D to the end of the commercialisation process.
• Prepare Business Plans for submission to the relevant agencies e.g. Cradle, Malaysian Biotech Corp, MDeC (Multimedia Development Corporation) and MTDC (Malaysian Technology Development Corporation
• Facilitate at pre-commercialisation stage to provide early market insight, commercial feasibility and technology due diligent for funding, commercialisation screening, technology licensing or related activities towards commercialisation purposes.
• Engage with internal and external parties to accelerate commercialisation and increase success rate covering technology/product development, market development, financial and operational management.
• Potential to head a spin-off company out of a successful commercialisation project.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experiences preferably in marketing, business development, project management or equivalent.
• Experienced in business plan, project/sales proposal and good with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Entrepreneurial professional with strong analytical mind, quantitative skill, dynamic, result-oriented, a self starter and willing to learn.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to abide by deadlines with strong sense of responsibility.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in both spoken and written of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Pleasant personality, self-motivated and hard working.

2. Executive – Market Research

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate commercialisation team at various stages of commercialisation by providing market insights, competitors’ analysis and other related business intelligence.
• Work closely with commercialisation team by establishing, implementing and monitoring a market research and business intelligence framework as platform information to support commercialisation documents including business plan, project proposal, technology screening and collaborative or venture recommendation.
• Engage with internal and external experts and consultants to improve management and presentation of market information and business intelligence in the organisation.
• Attend business briefings and industry forums to develop knowledge and understanding of the market and competitive dynamics in order to feedback to commercialisation team.
• Perform any other research and commercialisation related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Studies or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experiences in market research environment with good exposures in key business plan components including product value proposition, market analysis, competitors’ analysis and financial forecast.
• Experienced with market data resources like Frost & Sullivan, Thomson Reuters, Euromonitor International, etc. Well verse in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Possess strong analytical mind, quantitative skill, dynamic, result-oriented, a self starter and willing to learn.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to abide by deadlines with strong sense of responsibility.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in both spoken and written of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Pleasant personality, self-motivated and hard working.
