Jawatan Kosong MDBB - Majlis Daerah Bandar Baharu (MDBB) or Bandar Baharu District Council is a Local Authority Party that is given the authority under the governments Act of Law 124 (Temporary Provisions) for its administration area. Bandar Baharu District Council covers the whole Bandar Baharu district. It covers an area as wide as 169.3km square feet and constitutes of seven districts which are Serdang, Kuala Selama, Sungai Batu, Bagan Samak, Permatang Pasir, Sungai Kecil Ilir and Relau.
District Council of New City is located in the southern part of the state of Kedah Darul Aman, bordering the north of the district of Kulim, Penang and Perak on the west side of South disebalh.
In the District Council of New City, nine settlements identified, namely Serdang, Bandar Baharu, Kuala long, LUBUK Buntar, Bagan Samak, Ilir Sub River, Furnace, Air Putih and Permatang Cropping index as the area to be developed more rapidly than other areas . Each area covers an area of ??2,518.1 hectares.
Covering an area of ??300.0 hectares (11.9%) of the settlements is an area of operation during the New Urban District Council was gazetted on 1 st March 1979 in accordance with the provisions of Act 171.
