The Association is an association of Medical Social Work Officer (Community Development Officer) who is serving in the field of medicine in government and private sectors throughout Malaysia. It was founded in 1996, was known Organization ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (MEDICAL) MALAYSIA (MALAYSIAN ASSOCIATION OF MEDICAL SOCIAL Officers) in conjunction with taking the ultimate designation of officers in the Public Service Department. These associations have been registered with the Registrar of Societies - No. 2452/96 W.P. Place of business of this Association is the address of the Social Work Department of Medicine, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Pahang, 50586 Kuala Lumpur.
VISION
- To provide social services, a caring, efficient and effective & to help patients cope with their problems that interfere with their health.
- To enhance human wellbeing and help meet the basic human needs of all people.
- Improve the quality of services among Community Development Officer (Medical).
- Create a platform where members can exchange ideas, talk about service matters.
- Safeguard the welfare of members.
- Act as a reservoir in the formulation of recommendations related to issues of Community Development Officer (Medical).
- Merge with the bodies of other equally legitimate purpose, whether at the national or international level.
