Jawatan Kosong MBMB - Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah MBMB or Malacca City Council is a local authority which administers Malacca City and other areas of Central Malacca (Melaka Tengah) district. This agency is under Malacca state government. MBMB are responsible for public health and sanitation, waste removal and management, town planning, environmental protection and building control, social and economic development and general maintenance functions of urban infrastructure. The MBMB main headquarters is located at Graha Makmur in Ayer Keroh.

Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB) was the main factor in making Melaka a dynamic, progressive, and beautiful city. Its administration area has developed at the same rate with the overall development of Melaka where focus has been given towards the agricultural, industrial, and currently the tourism sectors.

Historical Malacca Historical City Council (MBMB) was born with the history of Malacca. Although Malacca was a period of rise and fall, Malacca Municipality continues to exist. In 1824, Malacca Town named as "The Town and The Fort of Malacca", administered by the "Committee of Assessors" under the British Government.

In 1848, the East India XIX, has stressed that the established "Municipal Committee" in place of "The Committee of Assessors". The Act provides for five Council members, led by a "Resident Councillor" known as the Municipal Commissioner.

East India Act XXVII in 1856 has empowered the Commissioners Township trustee and may sue and be sued. On January 1, 1887, the Municipal Ordinance of the Straits Settlements has approved the municipal boundaries of 1.4 square miles and extends to 4.2 square miles in 1930 under Act 133 of 1913.

On January 1, 1977 through Act 171 (1976), the Malacca Municipal Council was merged with Melaka (MPMBB) to the administration area of ??114.7 square miles (303 sq km).

MPMBB is the prime mover in the city of Melaka as a dynamic, progressive and beautiful. Administrative areas developed simultaneously with the development of the entire state of Melaka, where focus on the sectors of agriculture, industry and tourism latest.

Infrastructure development is so prominent, resembling the most developed states in Malaysia. These conditions accelerate the inflow of investors to invest thereby creating employment opportunities for its residents.

On 15 April 2003, the Municipal Council was upgraded Melaka Historical City Council (MBMB). With this recognition, invited dignitaries will further enhance the quality of services to the community in Malacca in particular and tourists in general. Progress and prosperity achieved remarkable.

On January 1, 2010, another Local Authority realized that Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council (MPHTJ). Jawatan Kosong Mufti Negara - In the year 1957 (after independence), Melaka has been established a Enekmen named Melaka State Administration of Muslim Law 1959 (amended in 1991 and 2002). Mufti office was officially established and functions under this enekmen. In the initial stage, Melaka Mufti Department is one of the Malacca Islamic Religious Department (JAIM). It is known as the Fatwa.

However, in 1996, the Public Service Department (PSD) has issued a circular on the segregation of Fatwa Division of the Department of Islamic states in Malaysia.
