Jawatan Kosong Perlis - Kerajaan Negeri Perlis or Perlis Indera Kayangan (or Perlis Darul Sunnah ) is the smallest state in Malaysia . It is located in the north of Peninsular Malaysia and is bordered by the province of Satun and Songkhla , Thailand to the north, and Orissa in the south. Perlis was called Palit in the Siamese when Perlis had come under the influence of Siam ago.
Perlis became a sovereign state on May 20, 1843 when Siam appoints Syed Hussain Jamalullail as Raja. Starting from that date, Perlis originally a colonial district Kedah turns into a shade of a sovereign state.
