Jawatan Kosong SPAJ - Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam Negeri Johor (SPAJ) established by the Legal Services Commission, 1959 State No. 4. Establishment also is subject to Article 144 (1) of the Constitution.
SPAJ is responsible for appointing Authority on the appointment, verify, insert in a pensionable post, promote, exercise disciplinary control over members of the Johor civil service.
Referring to the Johor civil service, it has a long and distinguished history. Johor civil service actually has been around since the era of the rule of Johor was founded by His Royal Highness (HRH) Daing Temenggong Ibrahim. He who ruled Johor between 1856 to 1862 has created the position of Commissioner responsible Muar and Endau help Majesty Daing Temenggong Ibrahim in financial administration and the state of Johor.
In the reign of Abu Bakr Majesty Emperor who ruled Johor between 1862 to 1895, he founded the Modern Johor Administration to establish a number of government departments such as the Office of the State Secretary of Johor, Commissioner Division, Treasury Department, Police, Public Works Department and the Land Department Navy and the Department of Medicine. At this time the administration of the Malay states of Johor emerged as the earliest founded modern administrative system than the other Malay states that existed at the time.
Modern Johor Administration System has been further strengthened by the constitutional declaration of the state of Johor, known as the Law of the Johor State Constitution 1895. Enshrined therein creation of public service posts such as the state of Johor State Secretary, State Legal Adviser and State Financial Officer [Jumlahkata (1) Clause 6, Part Two] who continue to be applied until now. In fact, the Law of the Johor State Constitution 1895 is the first Malay state constitution diwujukan of government in the history of the Malay states.
In terms of appointments to the public service in Johor at that time, it is based on the capability and capacity; experience and skills, and socialize with the government.
System administration and modern public services has continued and developed by His Majesty the Emperor successors Abu Bakr till today through an adaptation process in the era of independence states of the Malay land. Accordingly, the implementation of public service administration Johor currently has over its development process in line with the development of national public service.
Please be informed also that SPAJ is a department created by the Johor state government in line with the provisions of the Law of the Johor State Constitution 1895. Chairman and members appointed by the pleasure SPAJ HRH Sultan of Johor.
