Jawatan Kosong Sarawak Energy - Sarawak Energy (formerly Syarikat SESCO Berhad or Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation, SESCO) is the energy company responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for the Sarawak state in Malaysia. It is owned by the State Government of Sarawak.Sarawak Energy provides electricity to about 382 000 customers. Over the last four years, sales of electrical grew at an average of 8 per cent per annum. Sarawak Energy has slightly over 2000 employees.

Sarawak Energy belongs to the people of Sarawak, being 100 per cent owned by the State Government.

The company has a proud history of more than 70 years of service to the Sarawak community and now provides electricity to more than 500,000 account holders. While our name has changed from time to time, our respect for the people that we serve has never wavered.

In recent years, we have made strong progress on an exciting transformation journey, focused on harnessing the State’s abundant energy resources in hydropower, natural gas and coal to create new opportunities for the Sarawak community. With firm plans for further rapid growth, SEB is on track to become the leading producer of renewable energy in South East Asia.

By supporting the State Government’s Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy or SCORE program, Sarawak Energy is helping our community reach the goal of becoming a high-income State by 2020.

Sarawak Energy history could be traced back to 1932, with the formation of Sarawak Electricity Supply Company Limited, by then Brooke Administration,to operate public electricity supply within Sarawak.Prior to that, in 1921 a Electrical Section within the Public Works Department was set up to look after the public electricity supply.

In 1962, under the Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation Ordinance 1962, the Sarawak Electricity Co. Ltd. was dissolved,and later created into a Corporation, known as Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation (SESCO). In 1996, Sarawak Enterprise Corporation Berhad bought over 45% stake of the Corporation from the Sarawak Government.

In 2005,SESCO was privatized and known as Syarikat SESCO Berhad, until it was re-branded in 2012 as Sarawak Energy Berhad.

Jawatan Kosong SPA Sarawak - Sarawak’s State Legislative Assembly, the oldest legislature in Malaysia, was established after its first inaugural meeting at Bintulu on 8th September 1867. Its first 21-member Sarawak General Council, headed by Rajah Charles Brooke, consisted of six of Brooke’s officers and 16 local community leaders. In 1903, the General Council was renamed Council Negri. 

In 1941, Brooke’s son, Vyner, established a written constitution known as the Constitution Order in Council during the 100th anniversary celebration of the Brookes’ rule in Sarawak. As a result, the Council Negri membership numbers were increased to 24. Instead of Vyner Brookes (in his role as Rajah) the Chief Secretary was appointed to preside over the Council Negri.In 1963, the Council Negri’s membership increased to 42. Since then, it rose incrementally to 48 in 1968, 56 in 1989, 62 in 1996 and 71 in 2006. In 1976, the Council Negri was renamed the Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN).

Jawatan Kosong Salcra - Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (SALCRA) was establish in May, 1976 as a Government Statutory Body under the Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority Ordinance, 1976.

Currently, SALCRA is managing eighteen (18) oil Palm Estates or Estates Participants and owned one (1) Tea Plantation and four (4) Palm Oil Mills.

SALCRA also had started its expansion and diversification programs as follows:

• Incorporated and activated a subsidiary company, SALCRA Jaya Sdn. Bhd. (SJSB) to support the Group by undertaking agriculture related and logistic business activities.
  
• Acquired Sarawak Fertilizer Sdn. Bhd. (SFSB) to produce and supply fertilizer for SALCRA's estates.
  
• Set-up Research and Development (R&D) works for tree crops (Bamboo and Gaharu Research); and
  
• Embark on Integrated Fish Culture Project at Batang Ai Lubok Antu and has been appointed by the State Government as the Lead and Implementing Agency under the National Key Economic Area (NKEA) EPP4-Aquaculture.
  

The State government of Sarawak has always emphasized on well-balanced urban and rural development in order to achieve a holistic development that benefits both the urban and rural population.

One of the government’s most effective strategies to date is the large-scale and systematic development of Native Customary Rights land or NCR land on a commercial basis, implemented through Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority or SALCRA.

SALCRA’s main objective is to improve the overall well-being of the rural communities through development of lands for plantation agriculture.

Over the last three decades, the success of this programme in converting idle native land into productive agriculture land has brought about greater rural development, poverty eradication and the creation of employment opportunities that in turn helped improve the standard of living among the natives in the rural areas.

SALCRA is playing the key roles in land rehabilitation, promotion of agriculture development projects, amalgamation of development projects and implementation of schemes for improvements. Based on the ‘in-situ’ concept, SALCRA’s development projects are carried out where community existed.

The natives contribute their lands while SALCRA provides the expertise and funding. The rights to land are recognized through issuance of land titles to individual owners.

Today, SALCRA’s core business encompasses the management of NCR land for oil palm plantations and tea estate. Since the establishment of the first oil palm estate in Lubok Antu in 1976, 17 more estates have sprung up, including one tea estate, covering more than 51,000 hectares of land area stretching from Lundu to Bau, Serian, Sri Aman, Betong and Saratok regions.

Combining manual, mechanization and integration of cattle and agriculture, SALCRA SALCRA is able to enhance its productivity and efficiency, reduce dependency on labour and boast a sound environmental management system.

In addition to that, the tea processing facility located at Serian processes an average of 200-300 metric tonnes of tea leaves to made tea per year for the consumer market.

SALCRA is also involved in the marketing of oil palm products and made tea, to form a complete business cycle, thus improving efficiency and profitability.

One of the most crucial roles of SALCRA is the acquisition of funds from the Federal and State Governments to finance its land development projects which effectively relieved the landowners or participants of high development and start-up costs.

Sarawak is the largest of Malaysia’s 13 States and one of the two States located on the third largest island in the world -- Borneo. Known as the Land of the Hornbills, it is a unique and diverse gem in terms of its population, culture, geography and history.

Sarawak’s economy has been transformed in recent years, as the state diversifies away from its traditional reliance on mining, agriculture and forestry. Its incorporation was initiated following the recommendation of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, which conducted a comprehensive forest inventory in the state from 1968 to 1972.

Jawatan Kosong Sarawak - Sarawak’s State Legislative Assembly, the oldest legislature in Malaysia, was established after its first inaugural meeting at Bintulu on 8th September 1867. Its first 21-member Sarawak General Council, headed by Rajah Charles Brooke, consisted of six of Brooke’s officers and 16 local community leaders. In 1903, the General Council was renamed Council Negri.

In 1941, Brooke’s son, Vyner, established a written constitution known as the Constitution Order in Council during the 100th anniversary celebration of the Brookes’ rule in Sarawak. As a result, the Council Negri membership numbers were increased to 24. Instead of Vyner Brookes (in his role as Rajah) the Chief Secretary was appointed to preside over the Council Negri.In 1963, the Council Negri’s membership increased to 42. Since then, it rose incrementally to 48 in 1968, 56 in 1989, 62 in 1996 and 71 in 2006. In 1976, the Council Negri was renamed the Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN).
