Jawatan Kosong Kesedar - Lembaga Kemajuan Kelantan Selatan

Written By Jumiran on August 29, 2015 | Saturday, August 29, 2015

Jawatan Kosong Kesedar
Jawatan Kosong Kesedar - Lembaga Kemajuan Kelantan Selatan (KESEDAR) or The Southern Kelantan Development Board was established on March 2nd 1978 under the Southern Kelantan Development Board Act 1978 (Act 203). Its official launch was carried out by Allahyarham Tun Hussein Onn, the third Prime Minister of Malaysia on March 5th 1978 in Kampung Batu Gajah, Tanah Merah, Kelantan. KESEDAR was established to balance the composition of the residents in Southern Kelantan with the northern part of the state, eradicate poverty, and restructure the community.

Southern Kelantan is a hilly area with almost 50% of the land at gradients of more than 25° and just 10% with gradients of less than 15°. Despite the large landmass, only 20% of the land has potential to be developed for the agricultural sector.

The importance of bringing about development in Southern Kelantan provided the impetus for the federal government to set up KESEDAR, in order to balance the development of regions in the country. KESEDAR is the fourth Territorial Development Board after the Southeast Pahang Development Board (DARA-1971), Southeast Johor Development Board (KEJORA-1972) and Central Terengganu Development Board (KETENGAH-1973).

The first KESEDAR administrative centre was located at Level 2, Kelantan State Government Secretary Office, Kota Bharu with the first General Manager, YBhg. Dato' Ariffin bin Said reporting for duty on June 1st 1978. Due to the continous expansion of more office space, KESEDAR set up a temporary headquarters at the Lembaga Urusan Tabung Haji Building. The idea to build a new headquarters located in Gua Musang was the brainchild of YBM Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, the Finance Minister at the time.

Work began on June 16th 1984. The design of the complex took cues from local architecture and traditional Malay design, particularly its roof, and utilized local resources. It was completed on August 30th 1986 at accost of RM8.014 million.

Jawatan Kosong Air Asia Berhad

Jawatan Kosong Air Asia
Jawatan Kosong Air Asia - AirAsia Berhad is a Malaysian low-cost airline headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has been named as the world's best low-cost airline, and a pioneer of low-cost travel in Asia. AirAsia group operates scheduled domestic and international flights to 78 destinations spanning 25 countries. Its main hub is the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Its affiliate airlines Thai AirAsia, Indonesia AirAsia, Philippines AirAsia, AirAsia Japan and AirAsia Zest have hubs in Don Mueang International Airport, Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, Clark International Airport, Narita International Airport, Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Mactan-Cebu International Airport respectively. AirAsia's registered office is in Petaling Jaya, Selangor while its head office is at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

AirAsia operates with the world's lowest unit cost of USD 0.023/ASK and a passenger break-even load factor of 52%. It has hedged 100% of its fuel requirements for the next three years, achieves an aircraft turnaround time of 25 minutes, has a crew productivity level that is triple that of Malaysia Airlines, and achieves an average aircraft utilisation rate of 13 hours a day. All scheduled AirAsia departures from Kuala Lumpur use the Low cost carrier terminal. AirAsia had abolished its fuel surcharges on November 2008,but, due to rising oil prices, the fuel surcharge was re-introduced in May 2011.

AirAsia was established in 1994 and began operations on 18 November 1996. It was originally founded by a government-owned conglomerate, DRB-Hicom. On 2 December 2001 the heavily indebted airline was bought by former Time Warner executive Tony Fernandes's company Tune Air Sdn Bhd for the token sum of one ringgit (about USD 0.26 at the time) with USD 11 million (MYR 40 million) worth of debts. Fernandes turned the company around, producing a profit in 2002 and launching new routes from its hub in Kuala Lumpur, undercutting former monopoly operator Malaysia Airlines with promotional fares as low as MYR 1 (USD 0.27).

In 2003, AirAsia opened a second hub at Senai International Airport in Johor Bahru near Singapore and launched its first international flight to Bangkok. AirAsia has since started a Thai subsidiary, added Singapore itself to the destination list, and started flights to Indonesia. Flights to Macau began in June 2004, and flights to mainland China (Xiamen) and the Philippines (Manila) in April 2005. Flights to Vietnam and Cambodia followed later in 2005 and to Brunei and Myanmar in 2006, the latter by Thai AirAsia.

In August 2006, AirAsia took over Malaysia Airlines's Rural Air Service routes in Sabah and Sarawak, operating under the FlyAsianXpress brand. The routes were subsequently returned to MASwings a year later, citing commercial reasons. AirAsia's CEO Tony Fernandes subsequently unveiled a five-year plan to further enhance its presence in Asia. Under the plan, AirAsia proposes to strengthen and enhance its route network by connecting all the existing cities in the region and expanding further into Vietnam, Indonesia, Southern China (Kunming, Xiamen, Shenzhen) and India. The airline will focus on developing its hubs in Bangkok and Jakarta through its sister companies, Thai AirAsia and Indonesia AirAsia. With increase frequency and the addition of new routes, AirAsia expects passenger volume to reach 18 million by the end of 2007.

In the Times Inaugural University ranking top 100, it was number 50 in 2012. It is ranked 98th place in the 100 best universities in the world established within the last 50 years. It placed 53rd and 58th in the QS Top 500 Asian University Rankings in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, the national university of Malaysia was born from the aspirations of the nationalists to uphold the Malay Language as a language of knowledge. The quest for a national university was suggested in 1923 by the writer Abdul Kadir Adabi as a move against British colonisation. This nationalist tide galvanised Malay intellectuals of the time but met British suppression. The nationalists never wavered and in 1969 the movement again blossomed. A Sponsoring Committee chaired by Syed Nasir Ismail, a Malay intellectual, was set up to prepare a report recommending the establishment of UKM. Other prominent members of this committee include Dr. Mahathir Mohamed (Tun), Malaysia's 5th Prime Minister who was then the Education Minister, and Dr. Mohd Rashdan Haji Baba, who later became UKM's first Vice Chancellor.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia opened its doors in May 1970 to 192 undergraduate students in Jalan Pantai Baru, Kuala Lumpur, a temporary campus housing three main faculties, the Faculties of Science, Arts and Islamic Studies. In October 1977, UKM moved to its present premises which form the main campus in Bangi. The campus has a size of 1,096 hectares, situated in the metropolis encompassing the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Kuala Lumpur, the main commercial centre, and Putrajaya, the administrative capital. The UKM Bangi Campus is 45 km from KLIA, 30 km from Kuala Lumpur and 20 km from Putrajaya.

UKM has two health campuses, the Kuala Lumpur campus in Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, and the UKM Medical Centre in Cheras. The Kuala Lumpur campus consists of the Faculties of Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Dentistry and the Pre-Clinical Departments of the Medical Faculty. With a size of 20 hectares, the Kuala Lumpur campus was established in 1974.

The campus in Cheras consists of the Medical Faculty, the UKM Teaching Hospital and the UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute (UMBI). The Cheras campus was opened in 1997. Besides these campuses, UKM operates seven research stations (RS); The Tasik Chini RS, The Marine Ecosystem RS, The Langkawi Geopark RS, The Marine RS, The Fraser's Hill RS, The Plant Biotechnology RS and in the main campus itself, the UKM Campus Living Laboratory, which comprises the UKM Permanent Forest Reserve, or its Malay name, Hutan Simpan Kekal UKM as well as the Fernarium and the Herbarium.

Based on a foundation of 30 years of research, UKM was awarded the status of a Malaysian Research University in October 2006 by the Ministry of Higher Education, a move designed to propel the four public universities into leading research universities in line with the Higher Education Strategic Plan 2007-2020.

The year 2006 also saw UKM winning the Prime Minister's Quality Award. This award vindicates UKM's efforts at quality education and management, as outlined by the objectives of the UKM Strategic Plan 2000-2020 (PS2020). The Strategic Plan has been augmented by the newly unveiled UKM Knowledge Ecosystem Transformation Plan, a transformation set to catapult UKM into the league of leading research universities by 2018.

Jawatan Kosong MARA - Majlis Amanah Rakyat

Jawatan Kosong MARA
Jawatan Kosong MARA - The Majlis Amanah Rakyat - MARA is a Malaysian government agency. It was formed to aid, train, and guide Bumiputra (Malays and other indigenous Malaysians) in the areas of business and industry. MARA was formed on March 1, 1966 under the Rural and National Development Ministry.

MARA was formed by an act of Parliament in 1966. It had originally begun as the Rural Industrial Development Authority (RIDA), which was established by the British colonial administration in 1951, a program to provide economic assistance and support to Malay farmers and rural inhabitants - this organisation was later expanded in scope and became the MARA in 1966. Although it is an autonomous government agency, it reports to the Minister of Entrepreneurial and Cooperative Development, who appoints all the members of the MARA Council Members. Besides state-level offices in the 13 states of Malaysia and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, MARA also operates three offices overseas — one in London, Washington, D.C. and another in Alexandria, Egypt,[4]

Among other things, MARA offers loans to Bumiputra entrepreneurs.[5] Such loans may be repaid either in the conventional Western manner, or in the style of Islamic banking, depending on the borrower's preference.MARA also offers entrepreneurship courses, vocational training, consultancy services, and assistance in marketing for Bumiputra entrepreneurs.

MARA also constructs infrastructure, such as shoplots or factories, which are rented to Bumiputra entrepreneurs at a subsidised rate. These facilities are often constructed in towns or underdeveloped areas of the country, to encourage further development there.

MARA also operates several junior colleges or boarding schools, and Universiti Kuala Lumpur. Previously, Universiti Teknologi MARA was operated by MARA but now it has become its own entity under the Ministry of Higher Education. The junior colleges, referred to as Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MARA Junior Science Colleges, often abbreviated as MRSMs), are operated by the Education & Training (Secondary) Department of MARA, whose stated mission is to "produce Bumiputra students of potential in science and technology". Until recently, the MRSMs were only open to Bumiputra students. However, the Barisan Nasional government pledged during its campaign for the 2004 general election that the MRSMs would be opened to all. Eventually, they were opened, with a quota allocating 10% of all places in MRSMs to non-Bumiputras. In admissions, preference is given to students from low-income families, rural areas and/or those living in squatter settlements in the cities.

In addition to MRSMs and the UniKL, numerous vocational and professional colleges are also operated by MARA such as Pusat GIAT MARA & Kolej Kemahiran MARA. These vocational colleges give a second lane of higher education to students who not be able to continue their studies in universities. There are also Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi MARA and German-Malaysian Institute.

Scholarships are also offered to Bumiputra students for both local and foreign institutions of higher learning. However, students must specialise in certain professions, such as engineering, medicine or accounting.

Jawatan Kosong Sirim Berhad

jawatan kosong sirim
Jawatan Kosong Sirim - SIRIM Berhad is a wholly-owned company of the Malaysian Government under the Ministry of Finance Incorporated. With over forty years of experience and expertise , SIRIM has been the goverment’s mandated machinery for research and tecnology development, and the national champion of quality.

SIRIM Berhad, formerly known as the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM), is a corporate organisation owned wholly by the Malaysian Government, under the Minister of Finance Incorporated. It has been entrusted by the Malaysian Government to be the national organisation for standards and quality, and as a promoter of technological excellence in the Malaysian industry. The main headquarters is located in Shah Alam, Selangor.

The organization came into operation on September 1, 1996 via corporatisation scheme of standards and industrial research institute, initiated by the government with the vision to be a corporation of choice for technology and quality.

SIRIM Berhad as the national organization of standardization and quality, and as the prime mover in industrial research and development acts as a catalyst in bringing about national economic dynamism through excellence in technology and international acceptance of Malaysian products and services. Their mission is to enhance their customers’ competitiveness through technology and quality, and fulfill the needs of the shareholders.

As such its role is to act as:
    • A champion of quality
    • The national technology development corporation
    • Vehicle for technology transfer
    • A provider of institutional and technical infrastructure for the Government
In 1964, the Government of Malaysia directed the Minister of Commerce and Industry to make a study of the establishment of a national standards organization. This is in response to the urgent necessity of adopting the principles of standardization in light of Malaysia's accelerating industrial development.

As a result, the Standards Institution of Malaysia (SIM) was initially established as a Government department under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in early 1966. In October 1966, the Standards Act No: 76, 1966 was passed in Parliament making SIM the national standards body. SIM was governed by the Standards Council. The Standards Act provides the Standards Council with independent authority for the declaration of standards and the issuance of certification mark licences.

In 1974, the National Action Council decided that SIM be merged with the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (NISIR) to form the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM). As a result of this decision, SIRIM was established as a statutory body under the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment by the SIRIM (Incorporation) Act, 1975 which came into effect on 15 September 1975. With this merger, SIRIM is better equipped to expand its scope of operations in line with the rapid advancement of industrialization in Malaysia.

In view of rapidly changing market needs as a result of the accelerating national industrialization and globalization of markets, there was a need to amend the SIRIM (Incorporation) Act 1975. This will provide necessary flexibility for SIRIM to respond to these changes.

The Amendments to the SIRIM (Incorporation) Act, approved by Parliament, came into effect on 24 July 1993.

The Amendments allow SIRIM to undertake commercial operations through the formation of joint-venture or wholly owned subsidiaries. Under this Amendment, the 24-member SIRIM Council was replaced by a 13-member SIRIM of which six were from the public sector and seven from the private sector. The new SIRIM Board structure enables greater accountability and efficiency, and further strengthen the linkages between SIRIM and the industry.

On 1 September 1996, SIRIM was corporatised to be known as SIRIM Berhad. SIRIM Berhad was incorporated under the Companies Act, vested with all the rights, privileges and obligations of SIRIM.
